THE BRONX - The Blind Brook-Rye Public School District is recruiting students from The Bronx and neighboring boroughs to help fill their classrooms.

The district has state-of-the-art classrooms, high test scores and a record of sending graduates to college, but not enough students to fill them.

The district has launched a marketing campaign to recruit students in order to avoid laying off teachers and cutting back programs.

The school's tuition is $20,000 a year.
