NEW YORK - (AP) - Mayor Michael Bloomberg says New York doesn'tget its fair share of federal money to fight terrorism.

His comments come amid a heated debate between New Yorkofficials and the Obama administration over proposed funding cuts.

New York Congressional leaders complained last week theadministration planned to slash anti-terror funding for the city.

That was just two weeks after the Times Square car bomb.

Administration officials denied the claim. They said thatbecause of the federal stimulus program, the city was in factreceiving more security funds.

At a news conference today, Bloomberg said the debate was a"numbers game" that obscured the point that New York is anongoing terrorist target. He said the city doesn't get enoughrelative to the risk it faces.
