Bodegas probed for illegal drink concoction

THE BRONX - Bronx parents are irate after reports that local bodegas are under investigation for allegedly selling illegal cocktails to teenagers.

The State Liquor Authority is looking into allegations that bodegas are selling drinks known alternately as "nutcrackers," "finding nemos," or "jolly ranchers" to minors.

Authorities say the drink is made of tropical fruit juice mixed with rum, vodka and tequila. The drink is then packed and sold in Styrofoam cups.
