MARBLE HILL - Fire officials say a Bronx man's dead body was discovered Monday in a fire at a high-rise Marble Hill building that has been plagued by arson.

Police investigators are trying to determine whether the fire at 69 W. 225th St., initially reported at about 9:30 a.m., was ignited to cover up 53-year-old Donald Holliday's death. Sources told News 12 The Bronx Holliday was found on a bedroom floor with his throat slashed.

No other injuries were reported as a result of the fire, which firefighters put under control in 17 minutes.

NYCHA says the FDNY is aware of the recurring fires at the building.
