Bogus DEP workers rob elderly women

Police are searching for two men who they say are impersonating Department of Environmental Protection employees to rob elderly women.Police say one of the suspects

CASTLE HILL - Police are searching for two men who they say are impersonating Department of Environmental Protection employees to rob elderly women.

Police say one of the suspects distracts the homeowners while the other steals property from the houses.

The DEP has issued a warning about the imposters. Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
