Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. today honored a native Bronx athlete who took his talents all the way to the Olympics. A welcome home lunch

THE BRONX - Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. today honored a native Bronx athlete who took his talents all the way to the Olympics.

A welcome home lunch was held in John Orozco's honor to celebrate the 19-year-old gymnast and his achievements. During the lunch, he received a proclamation declaring today "John Orozco Day."

Orozco claimed eighth overall in the individual competition in London.
