PARKCHESTER - Activists and community leaders in the Bronx held a rally outside P.S. 119 in Parkchester where an alleged hate crime took place last week.

Surveillance video shows two masked teens beating Mujibur Rahman, a Bangladeshi Muslim, near Watson and Pulsey avenues on Friday afternoon.

He says the men were screaming "ISIS," in reference to the Islamic State group, during the attack that left him bruised, bloodied and with a swollen eye.

Through a translator, Rahman said that his injuries have made it hard to sleep since the assault.

Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. called the suspects cowards for attacking Rahman, who was picking up his niece from the school at the time of the assault.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. They are offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest.
