Boston Road tenants claim management won't let them buzz guests in

Residents complain that they aren't able to buzz

Residents complain that they aren't able to buzz visitors into their building.

THE BRONX - Some Bronx residents are complaining of an atypical visitor problem.

According to tenants at 1316 Boston Road, the building's management company, JHB LP, refuses to allow them to buzz in their guests. They complain that they have to trek up and down the five-story building to let people in themselves.

Many say the issue is a particular problem for the elderly and disabled living on higher floors.

A spokesperson for the Department of Buildings says it will assess the issue in the coming days. A representative from the management declined to comment.
