The Bronx's Albanian community is celebrating 100 years since the country gained its independence.

THE BRONX - The Bronx's Albanian community is celebrating 100 years since the country gained its independence.

Local Albanians are marking the major milestone with festivities along Arthur Avenue in Belmont, which has a large Albanian population, along with nearby Morris Park.

An estimated 250,000 Albanians currently live in New York City.
