THE BRONX - An unlikely partnership is aiming to cut down on graffiti while helping youth in the Bronx.

Bronx state Assemblyman Mark Gjonaj has teamed up with former graffiti artist Ralph Perez to form the Paint Straight program.

The initiative has ex-taggers talking to middle and high school students about their experiences in jail or doing community service, and how they can turn their artistic skills into a legal, possibly profitable talent.
