Bronx basketball star makes NBA debut

THE BRONX - A Bronx basketball star made his NBA debut last night.

Kemba Walker, who made a name for himself playing college hoops at Uconn, hit the court with the Charlotte Bobcats for their first preseason exhibition game.

Walker stole the spotlight, at one point netting 18 points in 19 minutes. The Bobcats beat the Atlanta Hawks 79-77.
