THE BRONX - From the field to the front office, The Bronx Bombers recognize their Hispanic influence.

New York Yankees Director of Latino Affairs Manuel Garcia is among the Latinos who hold the organization together. He was born and raised in Tampa, Fla. by Cuban parents and says he was always a Yankees fan.

Garcia says he hopes to influence young Latinos in the borough that they too can succeed in business if they want to.

Garcia is one of several people being feature on News 12 The Bronx as part of Hispanic Heritage Month this October.
