THE BRONX - A popular radio host who hails from the Bronx has announced a big career move. 

Angie Martinez, the so-called "Voice of New York," announced via her Instagram account that she has resigned from Hot 97. 

Martinez wrote, "This was one of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make, but ultimately it is time to move on, grow and to be challenged in new ways." 

She'll now be heard on another New York station, Power 105.1.
