THE BRONX - A 5-year-old boy who was allegedly abducted in West Farms Saturday morning is back in the arms of his mother thanks to some quick police work.

An Amber Alert was issued for the child just after 9 a.m. Police say he was taken by his 49-year-old father, William Jebor, after a custody dispute with his mother.

They say Jebor threatened to kill himself and the child if she came after him. Police sent out 15 cars to aid in the search near East 180th Street and Honeywell Avenue.

Neighbors who were watching say they're in shock this happened in their neighborhood.

There is no word on possible charges for the father.
