Bronx bracing for massive storm

THE BRONX - Bronx residents are getting ready for a nor'easter that is expected to sweep through the area Thursday night, bringing heavy rain and strong winds.

Boat captains and fishermen on City Island say they have been through bad storms before, but they are still concerned about the safety of their vessels.

Not everyone, however, is lamenting over the bad weather. John DeCuffa, the owner of Jack's Bait & Tackle Shop, says he's been doing brisk business selling rain gear.
