THE BRONX - Many Bronx residents stayed up celebrating into the wee hours of the morning after finding out that President Barack Obama would be staying in the White House for another four years.

At the Besos Lounge in Norwood, a Democratic watch party had Obama supporters taking to social media throughout the night as they waited for election results. The party then stretched far beyond the lounge and out to East 204th Street after projections showed that it would be a re-election.

Hundreds more braved the chilly weather and took to the streets in celebration across the city, including Times Square where supporters watched the news on giant TVs. Washington, D.C. had no shortage of commotion as people ran to the White House gates cheering "Four More Years."
