Bronx celebrates St. Patrick's Day

Residents throughout the Bronx are getting into the Irish spirit for St. Patrick's Day. (3/17/14)

THE BRONX - Residents throughout the Bronx got into the Irish spirit Monday for St. Patrick's Day.

While some may not be from Ireland, many celebrated with corned beef, cabbage and Irish music.

Arthur Douglas, from the James Monroe Senior Center, celebrated the holiday and his birthday for the 98th time this year.

For those who didn't make it to the parade down Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, a St. Patrick's Day Parade was held Monday night in Woodlawn.
