BROOKLYN - A Bronx chef is mixing his culinary skills with architecture to create edible holiday structures.

Jon Lovich spent four months building a gingerbread village currently on display at the Marriott in Downtown Brooklyn.

Lovich says he used about 800 pounds of icing, a little over 200 pounds of gingerbread and about 200 pounds of candy.

"Gingerbread Lane" will be on display through Jan. 15.
