THE BRONX - The borough celebrated the annual lighting of the Bronx Christmas tree on the Grand Concourse Thursday evening.

Many revelers said they've attended the event for years.

Some began coming as children and are now bringing kids of their own.

The tree remains in place until after the New Year.
