THE BRONX - A Bronx family is mourning the loss of a 2-month-old baby whose body was discovered in the woods. Members of the community have been expressing condolences for the family's loss.

Police say they found the body of Mason Whyte buried in the woods in Dutchess County. Police have charged the boy’s father, 51-year-old Jose Feliciano, in the child's death.

Police say Feliciano drove the body upstate after allegedly suffocating the boy to death. They say Feliciano's girlfriend, the mother of the child, was also inside the car.

Police have not charged the child’s mother in connection with the case.
