A foreclosure counseling program in the Bronx that set out to help people stay in their homes may soon be shuttered. The Free Counseling Program

THE BRONX - A foreclosure counseling program in the Bronx that set out to help people stay in their homes may soon be shuttered.

The Free Counseling Program first opened at the Bronx Supreme Courthouse in June and has helped about 500 homeowners avoid foreclosure.

But now, with so few people using the service, it may be forced to close down.
