Bronx Giants fans turn out for ticker-tape parade

MANHATTAN - A sea of blue swarmed around Broadway today as the New York Giants were celebrated with a ticker-tape parade through lower Manhattan.

Fans from The Bronx lined the streets to show their Giants pride, many confessing they skipped out on work to join in on the festivities. As confetti rained down, players like defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul took to the streets to thank the fans.

At the City Hall ceremony, Mayor Michael Bloomberg presented the team with keys to the city.
