Bronx H.S. proud of alumnus Oscar winner

THE BRONX - Students and faculty at the Bronx High School of Science say they're proud of one former graduate after he took home top honors at the Oscars Sunday night.

Alumnus Mark Boal won Best Original Screenplay and Best Picture for his work writing and producing "The Hurt Locker," a political action film about the Iraq War.

While in school, Boal was an avid debater, ranking among the top ten in the country during his senior year.
