THE BRONX - Forecasters are predicting a busy hurricane season and the Home Depot on Exterior Street held a hurricane preparation workshop to make sure homeowners are ready.

Staff members say important things to have onhand when a hurricane hits are flashlights, two-way radios, gloves and gasoline cans. Homeowners are urged to get supplies now to avoid stores running out due to high demand prior to a storm.

Residents who missed the workshop are welcome to drop by the store at anytime to get preparedness tips from staff members.
