THE BRONX - The Bronx is honoring women who make a positive impact as part of Women's History Month this March.

Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. took part in a breakfast celebration at the New York Botanical Gardens to thank several women, including Dr. Betty Rosa.

Rosa has dedicated her life to education, earning two masters degrees in science education.

Diaz quoted a philosopher in saying that this is a man’s world, but it would be nothing without a woman.
