THE BRONX - A Bronx hotel is helping bring business to local shops.

The general manager for the Opera House Hotel on East 149th Street says the hotel attracts many European visitors.

Merchants in The Hub say they've seen a major difference in the clientele coming into their stores, as well as an increase in sales.

The hotel general manager says the hotel plans to make its relationship with local businesses at The Hub even stronger within the coming months. He says it will help guarantee those who stay at the hotel shop at The Hub.
