NEW YORK - The Bronx maid accusing Dominique Strauss-Kahn ofassaulting her in a Manhattan hotel room is speaking out publiclyfor the first time.
Nafissatou Diallo tells Newsweek she wants the former IMF leaderto go to jail. She alleges he sexually assaulted her while she wasworking at a Midtown hotel in May. Her photo is on the cover of themagazine.
ABC News says it will carry an exclusive broadcast interviewwith Diallo on three of its programs, starting Monday.
She told the network she never wanted to be in the public eyebut had no choice, amid questions about her credibility.
Lawyers for Strauss-Kahn told ABC that the interview was "anunseemly circus" designed to inflame public opinion.
