THE BRONX - While many people work to ensure their homes are free of creepy crawlers, one Bronx resident is getting as many as he can in his room.

Aaron Rodriques, of Eastchester, estimates that he has a few hundred insects in his collection, comprised of about 20 tobacco hornworms, 50 cockroaches, 100 crickets and 100 max worms, in addition to a some tarantulas.

It's a lifelong passion, Rodriques says, that started when he was around 3 or 4 years old.

He's currently going for a PhD in entomology -- the study of insects -- at Purdue University and teaches about insects at zoos.
