BRENTWOOD - State troopers on Long Island say a Bronx man is facing DWI charges after he crashed an SUV on Sagtikos State Parkway while high on drugs.

Miguel Fuentes, 37, of the Bronx, crashed his 2002 Ford Explorer on Tuesday around 5 p.m. and was attempting to enter the southbound Sagtikos State Parkway from the on-ramp at exit S2, troopers say.

After the crash, troopers say Fuentes tested positive for drugs.

They say Fuentes and his passenger 37-year-old Jessica Ocasio were also carrying cocaine.

Fuentes is facing DWI, criminal possession of a controlled substance and vehicular assault charges.
