THE BRONX - A Bronx man is packed and ready to fly to Nepal where he'll help earthquake victims. 

Raul Rivera-Nunez is one of only a few American Red Cross staff members who will travel to the South Asian country, which was devastated by natural disaster in April. 

As a regional director, Rivera-Nunez will be on the ground in Nepal for a month handing out critical relief supplies, such as tarps, sheets, water cans, mosquito nets and building tools. 

This won't be the first trip abroad to help others for Rivera-Nunez. He went to Haiti after a massive earthquake in 2010 and also headed to the Philippines for several weeks in 2013 to support typhoon recovery. 

Rivera-Nunez says he strives to do something meaningful. "I want to help these people who just suffered a tremendous disaster, and represent the American Red Cross and the American people."
