Bronx man searches for wife missing nearly 2 weeks

SOUNDVIEW - A Bronx man is searching for his wife who vanished almost two weeks ago, after telling him she lost the keys to their apartment.

Nicholas Walters says he last spoke to his wife, Jennifer, on August 27 when she said she was going to retrace her steps to find the keys.

Two days later, Walters says he got a call from transit police saying they found her purse sitting on the 4 train with her cellphone and wallet, which had $140 in it.

Walters has now filed a missing persons report and is putting up fliers.

Anyone with information on Jennifer Walters' whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
