Bronx man, woman mauled by pit bulls

THE BRONX - A man says he was attacked by two pitbulls after the dogs escaped from the backyard of a private home.

Adolfo Gonzalez says he was walking back from work when he was bit by the two dogs near Boston Road and Prospect Avenue. Another woman was also bit by the dogs.

Police say the dogs bit the victims on their legs. Both were taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital with minor injuries.
