THE BRONX - A Bronx woman has been arraigned on murder charges after her two children were found dead in their Parkchester apartment last week.

Police say they found 29-year-old Lisette Bamenga's 4-year-old son and 4-month-old daughter after going to check on what they believed to be a gas leak at 1500 Noble Ave. Bamenga was also found with minor cuts to her wrists.

According to court documents, Bamenga killed her kids by feeding them windshield wiper fluid in grape juice and drowning them in the bathtub. Investigators say she then put their bodies in the kitchen and turned on the gas.

The children's father is a rookie NYPD officer.
