Bronx mother Maria Lucaj taken off life support after being hit by teenage driver in Morris Park

THE BRONX - A Bronx mother has died after being struck by a teenage driver right before Thanksgiving.

Officials say 55-year-old Maria Lucaj was taken off life support at Jacobi Medical Center.

According to police, Lucaj was crossing the intersection of Neil Avenue and Williamsbridge Road in Morris Park when a 19-year-old girl made a left turn and hit her.

No charges are being filed against the driver.
