THE BRONX - Police are questioning a Bronx woman in connection to the death of her 2-year-old son on Staten Island.

An 18-year-old baby sitter, Cynthia Dubois, has been arrested in the death of the boy. The medical examiner's office ruled Josiah Taylor's death a homicide after an autopsy found he died from battered child syndrome. The office said there was evidence his injuries were sustained over a period of time.

Dubois has pleaded not guilty to assault and child endangerment in the child's death and was ordered held today on $100,000 bail.

Police are also questioning the child's father.
