Bronx Museum of the Arts raises $1M for new artwork

GRAND CONCOURSE - The Bronx Museum of the Arts was able to raise $1 million in order to get some new additions to its collection.

Pieces of the new artwork are up for display in the museum's African American, Latin American and Asian exhibits. Some of the new artwork, which deals with urban themes, comes from Bronx-born and/or borough-based artists.

Admission to the museum is free to the public.
