THE BRONX - A Bronx girl is using her life stories from living in the Bronx to take off-Broadway by storm.

Shana Solomon grew up in the borough and has a lot of memories, including some she says she may want to forget.

But, she says she decided to take all of the bottled up mixed feelings and turned it into a one-woman play she wrote and stars in.

Now, it is an off-Broadway hit that you can see every week at the Stage Left Studios Theatre in Manhattan.

During the play, Solomon takes on the role of 13 different characters. The play is about her decision not to let her surroundings change who she really is, and she hopes the audience will learn the same.

Once the show is wrapped up, Solomon says she's already working on two other one-woman plays. Both of which are based in the Bronx.
