THE BRONX - A Bronx native is heading to the Olympic trials in California in hopes of representing the United States in gymnastics.

John Orozco, of Harding Park, just claimed a national championship, but is working to elevate that honor and become one of five men to make the Olympic team headed for London this summer.

Orozco says he has wanted to make it to the Olympics since watching the games in 2004 at just 11 years old.
