THE BRONX - A Bronx mother and father were indicted Tuesday on a number of charges in the death of their 7-week-old son.
Danielle Whyte, 31, and Jose Feliciano, 51, pleaded not guilty in connection with their son's death on Dec. 10. Police say Feliciano, who is Whyte's boyfriend, choked the baby because he wouldn't stop crying. Investigators say Whyte and Feliciano then dumped the body in a remote area of upstate New York.
Police didn't initially charge Whyte in the case. According to the indictment, prosecutors say Whyte repeatedly left her son with Feliciano after knowing he was abusing the child.
