THE BRONX - Children out of school for spring break this week can enjoy some fun and free events around the borough.

The city's Parks Department is offering activities all spring, including bird watching and scavenger hunts. Many events come with cool prizes, like the chance to become an honorary park ranger.

Other spots in the area, such as The Bronx Zoo and the New York Public Library, are also offering gratis events that are catered toward children.
