THE BRONX - It may still be fall, but unseasonably frigid weather is making it feel like winter is already here.

Bronx residents are bundling up with extra layers, hats and gloves as they brave the outdoors. Many say they can't remember a Thanksgiving week being so cold.

The World Health Organization is reminding everyone to take the proper steps to care for their health, such as knowing the signs of hypothermia, which include shivering, memory loss, confusion and drowsiness.

If staying indoors, the recommended temperature for your home should be between 65 and 75 degrees. It's important to also make sure your carbon monoxide detector is working properly.

Temperatures are expected to dip into the low 30s overnight across the borough.
