PARKCHESTER - It's was a cold and windy Sunday in the Bronx, with the wind chill making it feel more like winter than fall.

Residents bundled up as they headed out, with many running to the supermarket to stock up on food for Thanksgiving.

Many residents lamented the unseasonably cold weather, wishing it would wait until their Thanksgiving shopping has concluded. But to some other neighbors, the frigid weather reminds them that the holidays are just around the corner.

Monday will bring sun and clouds with more cold temperatures in the mid-30s.
