THE BRONX - Bronx residents caught a break from the cold Thursday with warmer temperatures across the region.

Temperatures approached record warmth and neared 60 degrees to feel more like a seasonal average for mid-April, according to News 12 meteorologists.

But the respite is not likely to stick around, forecasts show.

Chilly weather with the possibility of snow could return by the weekend.
