THE BRONX - Bronx residents broke out their lighter clothing Wednesday for the warmest day the borough has seen in quite some time.

The first signs of spring were evident in Fordham as temperatures reached almost 60 degrees and snow melted.

Residents exercised outdoors, took walks with their pets and enjoyed the sunshine.

News 12 meteorologists say that temperatures are expected to reach near 50 degrees on Thursday, and closer to 40 degrees on Friday. Saturday will be cloudy with periods of rain.
