THE BRONX - Temperatures soared for the third consecutive day in the Bronx Friday.

Many residents headed to Soundview Park to escape the heat by swimming in the borough's public pools.

Health officials continued to advise people to stay hydrated throughout the day. 

One Bronx resident says he has kept busy trying to keep the people of the Bronx hydrated these past few days. Luis La Guerre, who has been selling water on Bruckner Boulevard and White Plains Road, says he has been selling out of water quickly.
