THE BRONX - Bronx residents were looking for ways to stay cool as temperatures hit the mid- to upper-90s Saturday afternoon.

Many were spending the day at Floating Pool Lady at Barretto Point Park.

Employees say that the pool is open every day during the summer until 6:45 p.m., but on Saturday the hours were extended until 8 p.m. due to the heat.
