Bronx residents marched for unity and peace hoping to keep Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s message alive in the borough in Mount Hope.State Sen.

THE BRONX - Bronx residents marched for unity and peace hoping to keep Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s message alive in the borough in Mount Hope.

State Sen. Pedro Espada Jr. and local clergy members organized the walk. They said they hoped the march reminded residents of the non-violent ways of Dr. King.

The march ended with a special ceremony at the Creston Avenue Baptist Church.
