Bronx residents prep for main event after snow preview

WAKEFIELD - Residents trudged through snow and sleet to get around today after a winter storm began dumping snow this morning.

The storm is expected to dump 8-14 inches of snow by tomorrow morning. Residents said they planned early departures tomorrow to get to their destinations.

Many schools canceled after-school activities and programs today. More closures are expected tomorrow.
