Bronx residents protest Espada's lavish digs

THE BRONX - Dozens of residents traveled to Sen. Pedro Espada?s Mamaroneck home to protest his lavish lifestyle.

Members from the Community Action for Safe Apartments held a community protest outside Espada?s home. Participants say the senator?s proposed rent freeze bill threatens their homes.

Espada has been at the center of an investigation that states he siphoned millions from a Bronx non-profit to fund his lifestyle.
