Residents complain that the walkway has been in disrepair for years.

THE BRONX - Bronx residents say that a crumbling sidewalk in Parkchester is forcing them to walk in the streets.

Pedestrians in the area say the sidewalk, which runs next to an Amtrak line, has been in a state disrepair for years.

An Amtrak spokesperson tells News 12 that they are looking into whether or not the broken sidewalk is owned by the agency.
